Why did you want to be an Editor for the Rotunda?

I saw it as a great opportunity to learn and grow in the journalism world outside of the classroom. I worked on my high school newspaper and really enjoyed that, so I thought I might as well continue with it.

What is your favorite part of being the Rotunda’s Editor-in-Chief?

I like to see all the sections come together and see an amazing finished product. It’s a really cool feeling to be part of that.

What are your favorite kinds of articles to write?

I started out as Features Editor last year so I have a special place in my heart for it. Also, I don’t like being serious all the time so it’s easier for me to write features.

What is your major, and what do you hope to do with it?

I’m a communications major and right now I’m not really sure what I want to do when I grow up. I’m really interested in page design though, so I’ll probably pursue that.

What is the craziest class you’ve ever taken?

Hmmm I took a sociology class in high school that was pretty out there. The teacher wasn’t all there mentally and he couldn’t really control the class so it was a free-for-all. But it was kinda fun.

Tell us one thing that’s on your “bucket list.”

I want to visit all 50 states.

Do you eat your sandwiches with or without crusts?

With! You get more food that way!

What’s something that you’re really looking forward to?

It’s really cheesy but I’m looking forward to seeing how my life plays out. I have goals and dreams and I want to see if I accomplish all or any of them.

What would you do for a Klondike bar?

There are some things we really shouldn’t talk about.

Would you rather be lost in the woods or in a city?

Definitely city. I can’t really do much shopping when I’m lost in the woods.
