The baseball game scheduled to take place at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21 between the Longwood Lancers and the Liberty Flames was cancelled due to rain. The cancellation was the Lancers' ( ) of the season.

The Lancers came into yesterday's game having lost four in a row, all during a road trip in Syracuse, NY against Le Moyne. After the sweep by Le Moyne, the Lancers stand at 21-16 on the season.

Adding insult to injury, the Lancers would have returned to Lancer Stadium for only the first time in nine games. With the cancellation, the Lancers now return to the road for seven games before returning to Farmville for Senior Day on Tuesday, May 12.

Senior Day will feature the James Madison Dukes visiting Lancer Stadium for a 7:00 p.m. night match-up.
