It seems the Internet is abuzz with talks of cut sports programs on economic blogs and college sports forums lately. Many across the nation are asking whether is fiscally responsible or makes sense to cut school sports. Considering the fact 49 percent of Longwood University's comprehensive fee that you and I pay as a chunk of our tuition each year goes to athletics and that our most "profitable" sports have a knack for operating in the red, perhaps this is a question that should be asked here.
