SGA…Do Work Disclaimer: I am an involved student on campus and I am about to voice many frustrations and concerns that I feel a good amount of the student body also have. I am in no way implying that I am speaking for the entire student body. Dear SGA, Have you forgotten what the "S" stands for? Let me remind you. (10) comments

Dear Rotunda, When one thinks about a police officer there are a few words that should come to mind-respect, dignity, fairness, and altruistic deeds. Police officers should instill a sense of safety and social justice within a community. Specifically speaking, police officers in college towns have an extra load on their shoulders due to the fact that there is a concentrated number of 18-23 year olds who like to go out on the weekends. Dear Rotunda, In your most recent issue I found many issues with the article entitled "Freshman Finds His Own Sound."This article is full of contradictions and I find the very idea of this "musical genre" (I'm using quotes sarcastically) very suspect. Remember when Facebook first came out and it was exclusive to those with collegiate e-mail addresses? For those of us who are seniors, that was freshmen year, and we felt like VIPs logging onto Facebook for the first time, knowing that neither little brothers nor parents could look into our virtual worlds. "This is definitely a big addiction in America. I wanted to know why someone would be obsessed with getting a "golden ball" so much in a video game that they would destroy a relationship and lash out at another person in a manner that was psychopathic. Now I know! This game is very very addictive and turns the people who use it into people who treat others as objects. (0) comments

What the Spirit of

After the parade, the football, the turkey and the tryptophan nap to follow, in rushes the holiday season with all its tree lighting, candle burning and Santa Claus lighting glory. The holiday season? Oh right, that time of year when good cheer goes around in bundles and people think about giving of themselves to help others. (0) comments
