Longwood Fishing Club is Quite a Catch

The Fishing Club had its first meeting last month in the student union. Sophomore Jack Pollio, who founded Longwood's Fishing Club, said, "I have always wanted to do it [start a fishing club] in high school. I started out with the idea last fall and got all the research and started the process last spring semester with trying to get all the constitutions written up. (0) comments

On Sunday afternoon, the Longwood women's soccer team defeated the visiting Howard University Bison 4-0 at the Athletics Complex for their sixth wins of the season. In the 25th minute freshman Kacie Oliver scored her team-leading third goal of the season to put the Lancers on the board. (0) comments
